ZederhausZederhaus, province of Salzburg, municipality in the district of Tamsweg, alt. 1,205 m, pop. 1,231, area 130.55 km2, in Zederhaus valley, in the Lungau region. - Zederhaus storage power station (built 1984, 12.7 MW), south portal of the Tauerntunnel; tourism (30,125 overnight stays in 1992). - Baroque parish church (documented mention in 1445, rebuilt in 1674, altered in 1709 and 1759) with late Baroque high altar (1772-1774), in summer, custom of Prangstangen (patron saint's feast and procession on June 24, poles then put up in the church until August 15); ancient Einhof and Paarhof farmsteads with "Rauchküchen" (literally: smoke kitchens; local museum in the Maurergut Denkmalhof (memorial yard).
