Trčka, Anton Josef Pseudonym "Antios"


Trčka, Anton Josef (pseudonym: "Antios"), b. Vienna, Sept. 7, 1893, d. Vienna, March 17, 1940, painter, sculptor, photographer and poet. Studied at the School of Graphic Art in Vienna, acquainted with G. Klimt and E. Schiele, best known for numerous portrait photographs of famous Viennese artists of the turn of the century. At the end of the 1920s had his own photographic studio in Vienna.
