Vienna, June 28, 1997, painter, married to the painter Lotte Profohs (b. Vienna, Nov. 16, 1934), Studied at the Vienna Academy of Applied Art, at the Stockholm Academy and from 1955 at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts under A. P. Gütersloh; one of the initial members of the circle of the Vienna School of Fantastic Realism (1959 exhibition together with R. Hausner, W. Hutter and A. Lehmden in the Upper Belvedere Palace, Vienna). His own personality was often the main subject of his surrealist artistic creations. Produced the record "Autodafé eines Surrealisten". Literature: M.
