Wiener Dramaturgie, association of theatre managers, theatre experts and specialists in dramaturgy, stage-direction and theatre criticism founded in Vienna at the suggestion of E. Haeusserman in 1957. Its objectives include the coordination and reorientation of the repertory of Vienna's theatres and the promotion of Austrian dramatists. After the death of H. Kindermann, who, along with Haeusserman, had been an influential figure, the association disbanded. Its headquarters were located at the Vienna University Institute of Theatre Studies.
