TernbergTernberg, Upper Austria, market town in the district of Steyr, alt. 341 m, pop. 3242, area 62.02 km2, iron industry town in the lower Ennstal valley. - Ternberg run-of-river power station (built in 1949, 40 MW); metal-processing industry, wood processing, summer tourism (24,743 overnight stays). - Late Gothic parish church with choir from the 14th century and remains of Gothic stained-glass windows from the 2nd half of the 15th century, magnificent high altar by M. Rittinger with altarpiece by C. v. Reslfeld (1688-1690). Literature: U.
