Seefeld-GroßkadolzSeefeld-Großkadolz, Lower Austria, market town in the district of Hollabrunn, alt. 192 m, pop. 1,019, area 21.88 km/SUP>, on the River Pulkau, at the Austrian Czech border. Wine-growing industry and agriculture, park for mobile homes. - Romanesque and Gothic parish church in Seefeld, altered in Baroque style in 1726, interior dating from the middle of the 18th century; parish house (around 1670); pillory (17th century); depiction of the Holy Trinity (mid-19th century); Kaiser Franz Joseph fountain (1898); wine-cellar lane with residential buildings; manorial estate (18th century); palace, three-storey, four-wing building with park, built 1710-1715 on the site of a former moated castle owned by the Kuenringers, festival hall, room decorated with frescoes by J. B. Bergl, chapel (consecrated in 1702) with architectural and ceiling paintings by representatives of the Maulbertsch School.
