Kitzbüheler Ache


Kitzbüheler Ache River, in Tirol, also called Jochberger, Große, Kössener and Tiroler Ache. The Kitzbüheler Ache rises to the south of Pass Thurn (1,274 m) at the Salzburg border. It drains the eastern part of North Tirol, enters Germany near the Klobenstein narrows and flows into Lake Chiemsee in Bavaria, mean flow rate: 30 m3/sec. at St. Johann in Tirol.
