Aelium CetiumAelium Cetium, Roman settlement raised to the status of an autonomous town, a "Municipium Aelium Cetium", under Emperor Hadrian (117-138 A.D.). Mentioned in the Itinerarium Antonini and in the history of the martyrdom of St. Florian, called St. Pölten today.
