Schnellbahn, WienerSchnellbahn, Wiener, local railway lines operated by Austrian Federal Railways at regular intervals, fares set jointly with Vienna´ public transport system since 1962; initially limited to the electrified railway line Meidling- Verbindungsbahn- Floridsdorf, extended to Wiener Neustadt in the south; northern suburban lines: S 1 to Gänserndorf, S 3 to Stockerau (and Hollabrunn), since 1983 S 2 to Wolkersdorf (and Mistelbach). Other lines: S 7 (formerly Preßburg Railway) to Vienna Airport and to Wolfsthal, S 40 to Tulln, S 50 to Neulengbach, S 60 to Neusiedl am See, S 80 to Stadlau; since 1987 S 45, replacing the suburban line of the Vienna Stadtbahn.
