Prunner, Johann MichaelPrunner, Johann Michael, b. Linz (Upper Austria), Sept. 4, 1669, d. Linz (Upper Austria), April 26, 1739, architect, main representative of the late Baroque in Upper Austria. Trained in Italy, was influenced by the works of J. L. von Hildebrandt, M. Steinl and J. Prandtauer, but with more animated forms, created churches, chapels and castles in Upper Austria. Works: Linz: facade of the Carmelite Church (1713/1714); Seminary Church, 1718-1725 (after plans by Hildebrandt). - Calvary Church, Schenkenfelden, 1712; Trinity Church, Stadl-Paura, 1714-1724; Monastery Church, Spital am Pyhrn, 1714-1736; Minorite Church, Lamberg palace, Steyr, 1727-1731; church tower, Freistadt, 1735/1736.
