Carinthischer SommerCarinthischer Sommer Festival (Carinthian Summer), annual music festival, which started with a piano evening featuring W. Backhaus in the monastery of Ossiach on June 25, 1969. Until 1980 H. Wobisch was in charge of the programme, followed by Gerda Fröhlich. Since 1974 co-operation with the Kongreßhaus convention centre in Villach; annual performance of a "church opera" in the abbey church (many works on commission, e.g. "Das Spiel vom Menschen" by C. Bresgen, "Bruder Boleslaw" by D. Kaufmann) and "Hochzeit in Kana" by P. Planyavsky. References to other albums:
