Zusanek, HaraldZusanek, Harald, b. Vienna, Jan. 14, 1922, d. Vienna, Jan. 21, 1989, poet, dramatist, writer of plays for radio and television. Professor at the Vienna University of Music and Performing Arts from 1967. The main subject in his dramas, which were often staged during the 1950s, is the threat that inhuman ideologies pose to mankind (e.g. "Warum gräbst du, Centurio", 1949); Austrian State Prize in 1951.
