Vienna, March 10, 1930, physiologist, neurologist. 1922 head of the newly founded detoxification centre for alcoholics in Vienna "Am Steinhof"; studied the anatomy of the cerebellum and the physiology of the senses, especially the senses of balance and orientation. Significantly supported the workers' temperance movement. Publications: Gegen den Alkohol, 1897; Grundriß der Alkoholfrage, 1922; ed. "Der Abstinent", from 1902.
