Reichenfels, Carinthia, market town in the district of Wolfsberg, alt. 809 m, pop. 2,073, area 87.16 km2, summer tourism (15,442 overnight stays in 1992), situated in the upper Lavanttal valley. - Kölzersauerbrunn well; machine manufacture, wood-working industry. - In the Middle Ages Reichenfels profited greatly from the mining of silver (reich = rich).
