Reich, Emil


Reich, Emil, b. Koryčany, Czech Republic (then Koritschan), Oct. 29, 1864, d. Vienna, Dec. 13, 1940, philosopher and literary critic. 1904-1933 professor of aesthetics; co-founder of the Grillparzer society (1890, with R. von Zimmermann) and of the adult education centre in Vienna´s 16th district, gave university lectures on folklore, pioneer of adult education in Vienna.
