Raditschnig, WernerRaditschnig, Werner, b. Villach (Carinthia), Nov. 21, 1948, composer. Studied at the Mozarteum in Salzburg (guitar, composition and electronic music). Established the Spontan Music Group; 1971-1974 head of the ensemble Schallmomente; 1985-1990 Projekt Tauto; 1990-1994 initiator of the Elektroakustik Performances Studio in Salzburg. Focuses mainly on landscape music and experimental music installations, as well as the investigation of sounds associated with non-musical themes and objects. Works: Solo für Lift und bewegliche Klänge, 1973 (clarinet); Hitler, 1978 (tape); Flucht vor Algol, 1983 (speaker, dancer, guitar); Passagen, 1989 (actors, singer, trombone, electric guitar, percussion, tape); Eisklang, 1991 (ice objects, sampler); Moos & Schall, 1994 (actors, sampler, electric guitar, video, tape); Offenes Feld, 1996 (actors, cello, electronics); Feldflächen, 2001 (electro-polychords, electronic modulation).
