Hofsilber- und TafelkammerHofsilber- und Tafelkammer (Chamber of Court Silver and Tableware), Court office in Vienna (1834-1918) originated in the 15th century, which was responsible for providing the necessary silver and tableware for the Imperial Court. After the end of the Monarchy the objects in its possession were incorporated in the Bundesmobiliensammlung, and the Collection of Court Silver and Tableware was opened to the public in 1923. The collection, which was thoroughly renovated in 1993-96, is accommodated in the Reichskanzlei Tract of the Hofburg and is managed by the Schloß Schönbrunn Kultur- und Betriebsges. m. b. H.
