FiskusFiskus (inland revenue administration, public treasury), also Ärar, term for different branches of the administrative government. Several special privileges have been retained to the present day (iura fisci), for instance in the case of transfer of inheritance of a person (caducity) or the assets of an association. The fiskus is represented before a court of law by the Finanzprokuratur.
