Vienna, June 5, 1237, Bishop of Bamberg from 1203, was outlawed on suspicion of being an accessory to the murder of King Philipp (1208), fled to Hungary and joined Emperor Friedrich II of the Staufen family in 1214/15. in February 1237 Friedrich II appointed him governor in Austria and Styria.
