Clemencic, René


Clemencic, René, b. Vienna, Feb. 27, 1928, composer, plays the recorder, head of various music groups. One of the most important pioneers in the field of performing music in authentic historical manner with his music groups "Musica Antiqua" (1958-1968) and "Clemencic Consort" (since 1969); spezialised in medieval and Renaissance music. Numerous recordings and publications.
