Eisenerz (Styria), Dec. 26, 1944, miner, ski jumper, ski-jumping trainer. 1967 world record holder in ski flying (Vikersund, 154 metres), silver medal in ski jumping (90-m) at the 1968 Olympic Games in Grenoble; then trainer in the Nordic disciplines training camp in Eisenerz.
