Allgäuer AlpenAllgäu Alps, mountain chain in the Northern Limestone Alps, forms the northwest border of Tyrol (Außerfern) to the Allgäu region of Bavaria and stretches from Kleines Walsertal Valley in the southwest to the upper Vilstal Valley in the northeast. Peaks: Mädelegabel (2,645 m), Großer Krottenkopf (2,657 m), Hochvogel (2,593 m).
