Début at the Vienna Volkstheater in 1946; later appearances at the Burgtheater and the Theater in der Josefstadt in Vienna, at the Salzburg Landestheater and on various German stages (mainly in parts of the refined grande dame); worked for radio and TV stations and the film industry (film début in the first Austrian film after World War II in 1946 - "Glaube an mich"). Other film parts: Das Kind der Donau, 1949; Mein Freund Leopold, 1950; Sissi - die junge Kaiserin, 1956/57.
