Végh, SándorVégh, Sándor, b. Cluj Napoca, Rumania (then Klausenburg), May 17, 1912, d. Freilassing (Germany), Jan. 7, 1997, violinist and conductor. Became world-famous mainly for his performances of contemporary compositions (B. Bártok, E. von Dohnány, R. Strauss).
