Seminar für kirchliche BerufeSeminar for Ecclesiastical Professions, (Seminar für kirchliche Berufe) founded in Vienna in 1945 for women in ecclesiastical professions, affords training in all aspects of pastoral care (including work with children and young persons, adult education, and preparation for communion and confirmation) and for work as teachers of religious instruction at primary and lower secondary schools; four-year courses leading to diplomas recognised by the state authorities. The Seminar is operated and financed by the Conference of Austrian Bishops.
