Schnifis, VorarlbergSchnifis, Vorarlberg, municipality in the district of Feldkirch, alt. 657 m, pop. 637, area 4.87 km2, on the northern edge of the Walgau valley. Cable railway leading up the Schnifnerberg mountain. - Settlement from the early Middle Ages, first documented mention 820. Old parish (first documented mention around 830), current parish church underwent alterations in 1972/73.
