SchneealpeSchneealpe Mountain, limestone massif (plateau) of the Northern Limestone Alps at the border between Styria and Lower Austria (plateau in Styria) with Windberg (1,903 m) and Schönhaltereck (1,860 m) mountains; source of the Kalte Mürz river. Connected with the Rax mountain via the Naßkamm mountain (1,210 m). Part of the catchment area of the 1st Vienna Spring Water Supply System. Bases: Schneealpenhaus (alt. 1,784 m), Rinnhoferhütte (alt. 1,733 m).
