Rosegger, Hans Ludwig eigentlich H. L. RosseggerRosegger, Hans Ludwig (real name: H. L. Rossegger), b. Krieglach (Styria), Aug. 19, 1880, d. Graz (Styria), Feb. 17, 1929; narrative writer. Son of Peter Rosegger. Originally aspired to an academic career in public law. In Oct. 1910 followed his father as editor of the periodical "Heimgarten" (until 1923), which under his control displayed increasingly radical German nationalist tendencies. As a writer of novels and novellas not particularly successful.
