Rheinfranken (?), around 1200, d. after 1247, minnesinger and poet, political epigrams, probably of noble descent. May have been pupil of Walther von der Vogelweide, 1227 started his career as a poet in Austria, lived at the Babenberg court at the time of Leopold VI and Friedrich II, led a vagrant life from 1241.
