Penz, Franz de Paula


Penz, Franz de Paula, b. Navis (Tyrol), April 1, 1707, d. Telfes (Tyrol), March 12, 1772, church architect and clerical architectural director; had a major influence on the late baroque church architecture of Tyrol; his main work is Wilten collegiate church (1751-1765) in Innsbruck.


Works: Churches in Fulpmes, Gossensaß (1750), Anras, Gschnitz, Neustift, Schmirn, Telfes (1754/55).
