Odilon, Helene eigentlich H. Petermann


Odilon, Helene (real name: H. Petermann), b. Dresden (Germany), July 31, 1865, d. Baden (Lower Austria), Feb. 9, 1939, actress, 1893-1898 wife of A. Girardi. From 1881 at various German theatres, from 1891 at the Deutsches Volkstheater in Vienna (society ladies, famous as Madame Dubarry); 1898 H. Bahr wrote for her the part of Lona Ladinser in the play "Der Star"; successful guest performances in Berlin, London and in the USA (1902); 1903 a stroke ended her career.
