Moser, Johann Baptist eigentlich J. B. MüllerMoser, Johann Baptist (real name: J. B. Müller), b. Vienna, Nov. 25, 1799, d. Vienna, Dec. 6, 1863, Viennese folk singer during the Biedermeier period. Wrote and composed many popular typical Viennese songs (Wiener Lied) which he brought from the street to the stage and also improved their linguistic level.
