Mödling (Lower Austria), March 12, 1915, poet, narrative writer, officer and cartographer. Father of M. Morold; enlarged the map of the Vienna area; friend of F. Kürnberger and F. von Saar. In his four-part novel "Lebensmächte" (1890) describes the social problems of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy; awarded the Bauernfeld Prize 1902.
