Messe

Mass, Holy, the celebration of the Eucharist in the Roman Catholic Church in memory of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It is the centre of divine service in the Catholic Church. The liturgy reform initiated by the second Vatican Council (1962-65) resulted in a revision of the Roman Missal and permitted the use of the vernacular.
