Maria Amalia, b. Vienna, Feb. 26, 1746, d. Prague (Czech Republic), June 18, 1804, Duchess of Parma, daughter of Maria Theresia. Was married to Ferdinand Duke of Parma and Piacenza in 1769; played an influential role during the Napoleonic Wars, as a widow retired to Prague in 1802.
