KrieauKrieau, part of the Prater recreation area in the 2nd district of Vienna, harness racing course since 1878. Part of the City of Vienna since 1618 (its name is derived from "Kriegsau", meaning "war swamps", because of a long dispute with Klosterneuburg abbey). Literature: F.
