KramsachKramsach, Tirol, municipality in the district of Kufstein, alt. 518 m, pop. 3,918, area 26.87 km2, summer resort (287,190 overnight stays), situated on the northern banks of the River Inn, at the mouth of the Brandenburger Ache stream, near the lakes Krummsee, Reintalersee and Berglsteinersee. - Forestry enterprise of the Österreichische Bundesforste AG (Austrian Federal Forests), school of glass processing and production (private), school of aviation (private), Hilaribergl monastery of the Camillans, Volksspielhaus multi-purpose hall, adult education centre; wood processing (joiner's shops), crystal glass production, large laundry, textile factory, transport firms. - From the 17th to the 20th century K. had a glass works and a brass foundry; Late Gothic-Baroque church in Voldöpp, Baroque church in Mariathal; chapel of St. Anthony (1685) and Gothic ornamented statue (1522) in Hagau; manor house Achenrain (1655-1658).
