Hueber, Franz, b. Grünburg (Upper Austria), Jan. 10, 1884, d. Salzburg, July 10, 1981, notary public and leader of the Heimwehr (paramilitary force). 1925 deputy leader of the provincial Heimwehr, 1930 and 1938 (under Seyss-Inquart) Minister of Justice. Brother-in-law of H. Göring, thus involved in the preparation of the Anschluss. 1942 president of the Administrative Court of the German Reich, 1945 convicted of high treason and condemned as a war criminal.
