Heinl, Eduard


Heinl, Eduard, b. Vienna, April 9, 1880, d. Vienna, April 10, 1957, head of the department for trade promotion in the Chamber of Commerce, Trade and Industry in Vienna and politician (Christian Social Party, later Austrian People's Party, ÖVP). 1919-1920 member of the Constituent National Assembly, 1920-1934 member of the Nationalrat, 1926-1938 President of RAVAG (radio station). 1920-1921 Minister of Commerce, Trade, Industry and Construction, 1930-1932 Minister of Commerce and Transport, 1945 Staatssekretär, 1946-1948 Minister of Commerce and Reconstruction, President of the League of United Nations.
