Glemmtaler Alpen


Glemmtal Alps, province of Salzburg, Eastern foothills of Kitzbühel Alps and part of Grasberg mountain range, also called "Pinzgauer Spaziergang", ("Pinzgau walk") (Pinzgau: region in the province of Salzburg), separates the Glemm valley from the Upper Salzach valley. Highest peak is Geißstein (alt. 2,363m), an aerial passenger cableway leads from the town of Zell am See (Schmitten) up to Schmittenhöhe mountain (alt. 1,965m), ski area.
