Cranz Crantz, Johann Heinrich vonCranz (Crantz), Johann Heinrich von, b. Roodt (Luxembourg), Nov. 25, 1722, d. Judenburg (Styria), Jan. 18, 1797, obstetrician, introduced obstetrics classes in Vienna in 1754, wrote "Die Gesundbrunnen der ö. Monarchie" in 1777, the first book on medicinal springs in Austria.
