Cetische AlpenCetian Alps (German: Cetische Alpen), rarely used summary term referring to the eastern part of the Central Alps in Styria. They extend from "Hirschegger Gatterl" (alt. 1,553 m, also called "Salzstiegel") to the Semmering pass and comprise Stubalpe Mountain, Gleinalpe Mountain, Floning Mountains, Fischbach Alps, Waldheimat Area, Joglland and Wechsel Region. They are mainly composed of gneiss, have many pastures, flat slopes and forested valleys.
