Hinterbrühl near Mödling (Lower Austria), Nov. 26, 1906, landscape and genre painter, studied at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts and in Düsseldorf, spent some time in Paris, supporter of pleinairism and symbolism, founding member of the Vienna Secession, created several landscape paintings of Vienna and Lower Austria, paintings in the Natural History Museum in Vienna.
