AntifaschismusAnti-Fascism, political opposition to fascism, particularly during the period that followed the dissolution of the Austrian Parliament 1933-38. (Corporate State), during German occupation 1938-45 and, since 1945, opposition to the revival of National Socialist ideology (Constitutional Law on the Prohibition of the NSDAP etc.). In the State Treaty of 1955 the Republic of Austria undertook to counter any fascist tendencies.
