Ambros, Wolfgang, b. Wolfsgraben (Lower Austria), March 19, 1952, singer and song writer. Achieved a breakthrough in 1971 with "Da Hofa", 1972 first LP; friend of J. Prokopetz, R. Fendrich and C. Kolonovits, with whom he also collaborates. Greatest hits include "Der Watzmann ruft", "Es lebe der Zentralfriedhof", "Schifoan", "Für immer jung".
