This abbey now looks after 32 parishes. Special care is given to the cultivation of music. The convict of the St.Florian choir boys has international fame. Organ concerts and other musical performances maintain the tradition of the "Bruckner abbey". It was Bruckner's own wish to be buried here. From the court there is a beautiful view of the open staircase.
