This is the school Schönberg attended - it was founded in 1855 as a "Lower Realschule" and enlarged to an "Upper Realschule" in 1870. During that period he composed marches and polkas. He left this school on January 22, 1890 and started an apprenticeship at the private bank of Werner & Co.
