Zoller, AntonZoller, Anton, b. Telfs (Tyrol), Feb. 4, 1695, d. Hall in Tirol, April 16, 1768, painter; father of Franz Karl Zoller and Josef Anton Zoller. During his years as an itinerant artist, spent some time in Vienna; lived in Klagenfurt from 1728 to 1753; settled in Hall in 1753. Works: Frescoes in Carinthia: in the Palace of Trabuschgen near Obervellach (1729), at St. Michael am Zollfeld; in the Tyrol: in the monastery of Stams (1722), in the parish churches of Telfes and Schmirn (1757), Gschnitz and Mutters (1759), at Patsch (1767); altar pieces: at Anras and Inzing.
