Zerritsch, Fritz, b. Vienna, Aug. 28, 1888, d. Vienna, Nov. 9, 1985, painter and graphic artist; son the the sculptor F. Z. the Elder (b. Vienna, Feb. 26, 1865, d. Vienna, Nov. 30, 1938). Teacher at the Vienna School of Graphic Arts from 1938, created mainly designs for stamps and banknotes (1,000 Schilling banknote in 1938), as well as paintings, graphics, posters, tapestries, mosaics and frescos. Numerous decorations.
