Zeiller, Johann JakobZeiller, Johann Jakob, b. Reutte (Tirol), July 8, 1708, d. Reutte, July 8, 1783, fresco painter; cousin of Franz Anton Zeiller. Studied in Italy; from 1733 pupil of P. Troger, with whom he cooperated closely until 1743. Returned to Reutte around 1755. Works: Frescoes in Rosenau and Altenburg (both in Lower Austria), Suben (Upper Austria), Elbigenalp, Breitenwang and Reutte (all in Tirol), Feldkirch (Vorarlberg), Ettal and Ottobeuren (both in Bavaria).
